I see nothing wrong with use of the word "wizard". My title used to be "The White Wizard".

Actually, if you change your name your posts do not go back to 0, but you will lose all priveleges to the board until you have watched every episode of "Green Acres" and sung the theme song on national T.V.............

ummm, I think I need some rest laugh.gif

Yes, you can change your name through your account/control panel and you will not lose any of your posts. It will change all of your prior posts, so make sure you announce who the new you is!

(Thanks CelticRose for PM about this question!)

What? No Petticoat Junction? sad.gif

Wizard of Owls,

I see nothing wrong with your handle. You must have had some kind of reason for choosing it in the first place. But this is your choice. wink.gif

The Owl is a Majestic Bird and a Wizard is a Majestic Person. But that is My Humbled Opinion. rolleyes.gif I say Live and Enjoy your role.

how about using "apostle" with or without some sort of discriptive addition? it has an antique or historical sound, and makes one think of the brave early christians.

It's always your call of course. But I see nothing anti-Christian about the name. It's not like you're being non-Christian by wearing it. It's not driving Christ from your heart by using the name is it? (I'd hope not)

Allen,

When I first arrived here I signed on with just the first part of my e-mail address as my name. When I became aware of what the site was about I changed my name to MacEoghainn (nobody seemed to notice [nor care cry.gif ].

But what if Celtic-Rose were to change her name?

If I ever have a post that doesn't have at least one typo it will be a miracle (I was trying to fix that last one before somebody noticed but I made so many mistakes I gave up and admitted it with the "edited line"). wink.gif

MacE! When I first came on here, I went by a different name too! I changed it to CelticRose because of my name being Rosemary and it being a Celtic site! People seemed to adjust just fine, although I had a couple of people tell me they liked my former name better! Oh well, can't please everybody! LOL

And just to repeat: A "Rose" by any other name (flower or person) will always smell as(or in your case, C-Rose, "be") sweet.
