I've got a friend who works for the beer company here. Now very experienced beer drinkers of the world, how long will the beer stay in those kegs? Week, month? If I get a keg from Tom will it be alright to transport it up to the festival? If it's ok with the temperature change how many kegs should we get?

WOW RED!!! That's pretty cool of you to do that.

Now let me get this straight. In 2008, you will be living in North Carolina and your going to drive all the way down to Macon, Georgia to pick up a few kegs to bring all the way up here to the north to the CR Union.

That's a really great plan but don't they serve 3.2 beer down there? biggrin.gif

The 3.2 sh** doesn't qualify as beer. Not in my book anyway.

No In 2008 I will still live here and thru my contacts with this gentleman that works for the beer company we can get several kegs at good prices. So I'd be putting it in the back of my truck.
Now my question is will it stay good on the transport and temperatures along the way?
