For those who are near the 8 sites we have located and are posted under the Celtic Radio Reunion 2008 please attend any of those and report under this thread to let us know how each measures up with the below requirements.

1. Location must be convienently accessable by car or plane
2. Activity should be Celtic in origin to include all nations
3. Must have group camping and hotel accessible for members
4. must have sizeable town for shopping convience
5. site should have a pavillion or lodge or covered picnic area for a general meeting place before the games begin, this could also be used during the entire get together for a place to hang out at and all Celtic Radio members would have access to the camping pavillion for get together.
6. site must give us a space for Celtic Radio tent (this could be negotiated due to a sizeable crowd attending)
7. Gate fee's must be negotiated with organizers again due to sizeable crowd attending or a seperate entrance for our group
Organizers would know member's by their t-shirts that could only be purchased thru CelticRadio Network office.
8. climate must be within a comfortable range in relation to time of year
9. festival must have other activities for entertainment preferrably, sports, music and vendors
10. Festival must have activities for children and family
11. Need contact person and phone number
12.

Please add to this if you think of anything else.

One thing I'd like to suggest is to have a dinner on Sat night all of us together. Also everyone will have to bring folding chairs with them.
When we get close to the actual event we should start a sign up list of who' s going to bring what food and drinks but that's way down the road.

Needs to be handicapped accessable.
A lot of sites may not have a pavillion or such. Possibly just a central location within the site?
A bonus if the campground has a pavillion or community building for the potlucks and such.

Shouldn't it be a Celtic Radio Union since we've never met before? laugh.gif Then the next one can be a re-union. biggrin.gif

I tried to tell them that before, but they slapped an elastic on my beak and tossed me in the pantry.
