Happy Resurrection Day!!!

"In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher. And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning and his raiment white as snow: And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for He is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that He is risen from the dead; and, behold, He goes before you into Galilee; there shall you see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word. And they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshiped him. Then Jesus said unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me (Matthew 28:1-10 KJV).

"Now brothers and sisters, you have been called unto liberty; but don't use liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even this; You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Galatians 5:13&14; KJV)

The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The Lord is good to all: and His tender mercies are over all His works (Psalm 145:8-9; KJV).

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profits me nothing. Charity (love) suffers long, and is kind; charity (love) envies not; charity (love) does not flaunt itself, is not puffed up with pride, does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in truth; Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Charity (love) never fails...And now abides faith, hope, and charity (love), these three; but the greatest of these is charity (love)" (1 Corinthians 13; KJV).

Peace and love to you all,

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. We love Him, because He first loved us" (I John 4:18-19; KJV).

"I (Paul) therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forebearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" (Ephesians 4:1-6; KJV).

May you all have a blessed day!

"I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From whence shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. the Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever" (Psalm 121, NASB).

Remember the Lord watches over you and is your help in a time of trouble---He is faithful!!!

"He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1; KJV).

Let the Lord's shadow of love and protection cover you as you walk and live in His presence.

Isaiah 40
31 But those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

When times get tough and we grow weary, if our hope is in the Lord, he will renew our strength and we will be able to finish the race. Too many times we rely on our own strenght to get us through the tough time and in this we fail. If we would only lay all of our concerns and worries on him life would be so much easier.

Here is another of my favs:

The Armor of God

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

I love this set of verses. Because I am a fighter and a warrior for Christ so this really speaks to me. I am stirred deep within my soul.

"Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, and offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma (Ephesians 5:1,2; NASB).

Remember God is Love---You are Christ's hands, feet, and voice here on this earth. We should be mirrors of God's grace and love to this generation.

Peace,
