I have a leather and wool jacket from when I worked for Rapley Engineering in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The back has a picture of a cayote in the middle of a highway, howling (nice embrordary). The print reads "Road Kill Crew". The story: We were a small engineering office serving the local market. A large competetor's rep commented at a trade show that " we would take anything (project), even road kill. " We liked it. biggrin.gif

A, did you really have to do that at this time of night. I was just getting ready to go to bed. Now, I'm going to have nightmares all night long. crybaby.gif

I have a pair of olive green Gramachi pants that have seen better days. I have hiked or biked Havasupai Falls, the Grand Canyon, Banff, Hawaii, Ireland, NYC, DC and several National Parks in those pants! They have a large bite mark in the arse, where I was bitten by a fromer employeer's dog. They are very comfortable. They sit in a drawer waiting to get the leg seam restiched after a mountain bike crash last week. The pants and the bike are fine. As for me, I dont heal as fast as I used to.... unsure.gif

Had a great shirt - short sleeves, long tail, and well-worn (my wife would say threadbare). I saved it from the trash twice. Alas, though, after returning from an out-of-town trip I found it gone, and the trash had been hauled away some days prior. They just don't understand...! tongue.gif

I still wear my Navy sweat pants that were issued to me in Boot Camp. That was 10 years ago. It got it's first hole in it the other day in a VERY thread bare spot (there's a lot of those). I guess it's only a matter of time before I'll have to burn them. down.gif

My favorite is a ratty long-sleeved flannell shirt from Abercrombie & Fitch that Ii bought when they came to Kansas City. It wasn/t the fact that it was so good looking, but the fact that it was big and warm. Now it's got a big hole in the elbow of one sleeve and I wear it when I tole paint. I wouldn't wear it out of the house! But it's a comfort on cold mornings! That's what it's all about!

I may have to throw out my old shoes (the ones I talked about earlier in this thread) cry.gif . Last night, I noticed the right one was splitting right at where the leather meets the sole. I'm gonna miss those shoes sadangel.gif ...
