Hey, Where are you? Can we come join you by your roaring fire. It's 28 and freezing in Northern Illinois with winter sleet storm warnings. Need to go find some more blankets and find something to chisel the ice that's creeping in under the door. RebeccaAnn
Tonight it was so warm that my teenaged daughter wore flip flops to go out to look at Christmas lights. I saw people at dinner wearing shorts but I thought that was just pushing it. I mean, yes, it's warm but guys, it's still December.

The other day my mom woke me up telling me she left her keys in the house and asked if I could bring them out to her (she can't walk very well) so I got out of bed wearing just my shorts and took the keys out to her. There was about 4 inches of snow on the ground.
True to Indiana weather....it was warm enough to melt the snow today.
It's 60 degrees in the desert of Arizona, can you believe that? What cracks me up is to see people all bundled up in coats and all. I am like, it is only 60 degrees folks! Good thing none of us desert rats live where a lot of you live...in the snow, ice and very low temps. Supposed to rain a lot today, but so far I have not seen any where I live. The desert is a very funny place. You can see far in the distance where it is raining, but it may not be raining where you are. I love living no where else.
Yesterday it rained all day. The temp hovered just above 32 F, but I was worried it would all freeze, so I left work early. Fortunately the salt trucks were out so this morning the roads were clear.
Right now it's 31 F, winds from the NNE at 7 mph.
(Have I ever mentioned that Michigan weather sucks?!)

Normal is a relative term. For some reason it is not a term my relatives use to describe me.
It's still like springtime here. My computer says it's 67 degrees outside. It feels perhaps a bit warmer. Definitely a gorgeous day. I wish I could play hooky and go to Stone Mountain! Nice to see that at least it's Christmas-time at Rindy's!
Boy, I just got to work and there is no one in the office. The door was locked - everybody took off for lunch at the same time. And my boss had a doctor's appointment today. I'm hoping that I hear from her this afternoon...I'm quite anxious about her health.
Well, it's time to turn on my Celtic radio and get down to a bit o'work.
I think it's finally winter. It's about 36 outside and windy. It's supposed to go down to about 26 tonight and should be in the 50's all week. Possibly it's time to put the short-sleeved shirts away for the season. But, then again, I did just see someone come into Chili's a little while ago wearing shorts. Go figure.
