Hope you enjoy the Brides of the Bloodstone. It's a great trilogy.

Did you read her other Trilogy of the MacDonnell Brides?

I also like Sherrilyn Kenyon (aka Kinley MacGregor) and her Dark-Hunter Series.

But yeah I pretty much like the same authors like you do.

Did you ever read Donna Fletcher or Karyn Monk?

QUOTE (2cabee @ 30-Aug-2006, 04:24 PM)
Amanda Scott is great author. At least I always have liked her books.

hey 2cabee! I have probably have every Amanda Scott book she has ever written as I keep hearing she is a terrific author here where I live. I never hear it anywhere else! Sadly, I have not had the pleasure of reading her books yet as I have so much else reading to do, but one day I plan to very soon! Have you read all her books? What was your favorite of hers? Are her books written in a series? Many thanks!

A series that I have recently enjoyed was written by Karen Ranney called The Highland Lords. There are 5 in the series:
One Man's Love
When the Laird Returns
The Irresistble MacRae
To Love a Scottish Lord
So In Love

I like Amanda Scott Too. I don't have a favorite, they are all entertaining!

Thanks for the info on The Brides of the Bloodstone by Jen Hollings. I am always on the lookout for good series! smile.gif

Did you enjoy one series better than the other? I checked ebay to see if I could find either series there but had no luck, so I guess I will check out the library. Thanks! smile.gif

I actually enjoyed the first ones I read, The MacDonnell Bride trilogy better. (Those are the My shadow warrior, my wicked highlander and my devilsh scotsman.) But the other Brides of the Bloodstone trilogy is good. (theseare tamed by your desire, tempted by your touch and captured by your kiss ) are pretty good too. I actually still havent finished captured by your kiss which is the last one.

I had a hard time finding her too. I had her name on my list of authors who write the scottish/historical romance books, but I did finally come across her in one of my book clubs.

I hope you find them!

Was able to get The Brides of the Bloodstone trilogy from the library and they also had My Wicked Highlander from the MacDonell Brides. Today they called and My Devilish Scotsman is in. They are holding it for me. Now I just have to wait for them to get My Shadow Warrior and I'm all set!! biggrin.gif

I'm taking them with me when hubby and I take a trip this weekend. We'll be gone 10-11 days and if I have any downtime, I'll have them to read. smile.gif
