Severe withdrawal fear.gif !!!

Cool Water is made by Davidoff. It is a French perfume/cologne company. It is available at just about any mens' fragrance counter in the world.

"Shalimar"! My absolute favorite - regardless of season. Nothing else comes close.

Dreamer, You are indeed a woman of fine taste!!!! Shalimar is my favorite as well. I asked my husband for some "real" Shalimar for Christmas instead of the plain ol' eu de toilete. He order some in without asking the price lol.gif I think he almost had a stroke when it arrived. It was indeed a nice gesture, tho.

Isn't it wonderful?!? I know what you mean about the price, too. I got very lucky a couple of years ago. My hubby was over in Dusseldorf getting set up for a huge Trade Show - had already been there for 3 months! He came back and got me, took me over there for a week. I got to see everything they'd been working on, meet everyone, do some sight-seeing, and was there for the first few days of the Show. So exciting! Anyway, during one of my sight-seeing forays into the downtown shopping district I wandered down a side street and came across a very small shop with a bottle of Shalimar in the window. I had to go in and ask about it. The man was very nice, went into the back and came out with a small bottle in a gorgeous blue box. The Perfume!, and the price was incredibly low. I thought he'd made a mistake, but he assured me that was right. I bought it on the spot! My husband couldn't believe I'd spent $40.00 for that bottle, until I told him what the same thing cost here! laugh.gif I've used it sparingly for two years, and still have a good part left. Best spontaneous buy I've ever made!

I'm glad you like it as much as I do! Enjoy yours, and give your hubby an extra hug for it. That was nice of him!

Hi!

I'm looking through the General Duscussion archives looking for something new/old to talk about. I found this one, and I thought I'd revive it!

I personally like spicy-smelling colognes. My favorites are Old Spice and Pierre Cardin for men. My wife got me a new cologne for Christmas called Mambo. Not sure about it just yet!

I like the smell of "freshly washed woman". biggrin.gif
I am allergic to most perfumes, so I don't wear any myself and I don't buy it for my owner. I CAN tolerate gardenia fragrence, though.

My favorite is Voice by Peter Hofmann (he is german Operasinger who also sings Rock) but I also like Jean Charles De Castelbajac (Men's fragrance)

But also Stetson and Preferred Stock are on the top of my list.

I prefer mens' fragrance over womens because I like the spicy smell much better. I think it suits me more than any flowery smell.

I personally were Inis Arose and I like raspberry and vanilla smelling perfumes/ body sprays. I like the floral smell of Inis Arose although sometimes fruity is good too.
