Yea, I am about 80 miles north of Barddas and it was plenty warm and with all the rain we have had, Barddas you had better look out for the Miami River flooding down there. With all the flooding up here you are bound to catch the brunt of it into the Ohio.

Temperature right now here is a balmy 28 degrees F. Well it is normally for winter here. wink.gif

I think Annabelle would turn into a popsicle with temperatures like those. That is even cold in my standard. sad.gif

There is only one way I'd go outside in that temperature: if I was wearing three layers of clothes, four pairs of socks, some wool-lined boots, two hats (including the hood on my parka), and a welding mask to protect my face.

That sounds so cold that it would be hard to breathe. But I'd still love it. I love snow sports.

Try it first, then get back to me. laugh.gif

That's too cold for snow sports. If you tried skiing in temps like that, you'd end up losing your ears, fingers, etc. or you'll be taking the loooooong nap in a snow drift. You can't even take a dirt nap out here, it's too cold to break ground. tongue.gif

Ahem.....that's why I live in the desert! May be hotter than censored.gif in the summer, but at least you get to wear hardly any clothing! tongue.gif Our winters verra mild indeed! thumbs_up.gif Do you want to chop my head off now? giljotiini.gif

Hi Derfel, Just viewed the pic of the dog, looks like he is enjoying the weather, He looks a lot like my wee dug actually except Sandy (short for Alexander) is just that a sandy colour, and isn`t too happy at the moment with the heat here. sad.gif

I actually got him from an animal refuge, and was told he was probably a cross between a cocker spaniel and a retriever but don`t really know for sure, but he sure looks a lot like the dog in the picture. thumbsup.gif

anyway all the best to everyone, Elly thumbsup.gif

Bessi is a Muensterlaender, and she is already happy to be outside with me! biggrin.gif

Many greetings to Australia!

It is currently 4 degrees F with a light skiff of snow.

I did go on a Fox Hunt one time when it was -24 degrees F and a wind chill of -35 degrees F. We were out for one hour, jumped one fox and quit. No we did not get the fox either.
