Our new member ranking system has now been completed with the introduction of member groups based on the Seven Celtic Nations (plus england).

As you post messages you earn rank. Here is the breakdown of # of messages for each level of the ranking system:

# - Ranking
00 - Peasant
25 - Servant
50 - Clan Member
75 - Honored Clan Member
100 - Chieftain of the Clan
125 - Braveheart Member
150 - Knight of the Round Table
175 - Celtic Guardian
200 - Ability to change your member title!

At 200 posts you will also earning the ability to join a member Celtic nation with a flag and crown to compliment your posts.

The Celtic nations, member titles and all account information can be changed through the control panel.

In the future we plan on further modifying and enhancing the ranking system. Ideas on the table are member clans, more crowns and flag choices. This will form the basis of a future role playing game.

Hi Paul! I notice that this feature is available to me even though I have not yet reached the exalted status of 200 posts. I'm afraid to try it; er -- SHOULD it be available to me?

--------------------
Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow
Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning
Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

You can see the module, but I don't think it will let you change your image. Go ahead and try to and see if you get an error message.

If not, then I got some more work to do!! biggrin.gif

You're right, I got an error message -- good programming!

I've spent too bleeping long as first a software quality engineer and developer, then as an instructor. I don't trust anyone's coding, including my own... disgust.gif Sorry.
