Our site has been down most of the day today due to a hard drive failure. Because our database is stored on a separate computer server, our broadcast remained unaffected.

It did take us most of the day to reconfigure the server with the new hard drive. It should be noted that we were able to use the donations made by our listeners to purchase the new hard drive. So, the donations once again saved the day! On top of that, we have a faster hard drive and 80 gigs of storage space to be used not only for the website, but to be used for backup purposes too.

Because of the work needed to restore CelticRadio.net services, we are still very much behind in emails and messages. We will try our best to get caught up by the end of this week.

Thanks for your patience!

I just spent the last 2 hours rebooting the servers multiple times to get everything restored as before.

There should be a slight increase in performance, but the main message is "no more rebooting the servers" We are 100% back online to start the week!

Yes, I have to agree with Tartangal. I can move around here much faster.

I was wondering if it was slowing down due to the increase of members in here.

No matter, things are up and running and I don't have to go through withdraw symptoms. biggrin.gif

Thank you very much.

Now kick back and have a few of these. beer_mug.gif beer_mug.gif beer_mug.gif
