Here's a question for you all.
When you have your tea, is there a special mug or tea cup you use?

I collect tea cups too, and found a little 'treasure' just last week at an antique store: its from England, and has the Tower of London on it! Sweet. I enjoyed visiting England so much, collecting tea cups from there reminds me of such good times.

Now for coffee, which I am happily addicted to, I do have a favorite cup: it shows the cottage of Robert Burns as well as his sillouhette!

Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king..."

Hi all,
I would have to say my favorite tea is Constant Comment. I also like green teas. I can't stand coffee, don't even like the smell, but tea, YUMMY!!!!!! I also drink a lot of iced teas.

I'm afraid I'm addicted to coffee, but I like to drink some tea from time to time, specially in the afternoon when I'm on holidays. I like russian tea, the famous Kousmichoff (which was the tea of the tsar) and specially the one called "prince vladimir" flavoured with citrus fruits and spices. When I don't find it, I like green tea flavoured with mint.

I credit tea for getting me through Canadas "lovely" winters. I am addicted to any kind of minty or pepperminty tea, and I also love celestial seasoning's sleepy time. But I have to say that after spending 3 months in France, my favorite tea of all time has to be Verveine-Menthe (I think the english translation of verveine is verbain, but I could be mistaken). It just calms you down wonderfully, but also allows you to focus and gives you a kind of revitalizing energy. It's sort of like yoga for your stomach tongue.gif

I'll tell you one thing, for iced tea its hard to beat Luzianne decaf! I've been buying it for years (decaf only because we drink a lot and I didn't want my kids getting too much caffeine) and it is delicious.

I know the thought of iced tea is a borderline abomination to some, but if you lived here where its already approaching 80* F in April you'd realize its got to be iced or YOU will melt!

I like most any tea! Hot, cold, caf, decaf, herbal, it just doesn't matter! Just don't put any lemon or milk in it, and put LOTS of sugar! Favorties are chamomille (sp?), Irish Breakfast, Earl Grey, most anything by Lipton, Luzianne, Celestial Seasonings. I hardly ever drink coffee. Would MUCH rather have tea!

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it here in North America. Your best bet it to get someone who's going over to Europe to bring you back some - last time I was there I came back with 8 boxes of it in my suitcase (but it was definitely worth it!).

As any good Nova Scotian will tell you, RED ROSE is the best tea (it's an orange pekoe blend). My wife's sister claims she can get it at specialty shops in San Diego. I also love any of the other strong, black teas - Irish breakfast, English breakfast, and Darjeeling is also nice. Tea is my drink of choice having started in my childhood, there is no other drink I enjoy more.

I must say I am quite suprised that so many of you enjoy tea. Any time I have travelled in the US, I have found most of the Americans I met not big tea drinkers. Perhaps it is a celtic thing . . .

Well I guess since this topic magickly appeared in my forum I should add my input:

I use different herbs for tea as my mind and health demand...

My favorite winter tea ( I can see you all wrinkling your noses) is:

Garlic , sage, rosemary and heather honey!
This will take the chill off of you and help with those nasal trouble so many of us have. A pinch of cayenne added does not hurt either.

Garlic is for strength, sage is for the mind, rosemary is for health and the honey is the binding entity. The cayenne is just to get your nose cleard out LOL!
