Watched Envy with Ben Stiller and Jack Black on one of the HBO channels. Silly, but had some funny parts. Especially with those two together! biggrin.gif

Just watched Ocean's Twelve. Very good, but not as good as the first one.

My husband and I finally got to see "SAW" last night...it was pretty good, actually. I did NOT expect what happened at the end....and about the only thing I didn't like about it was how they left it hanging. I don't know, maybe they meant to leave it like that? all I know is that kind of ending always bugs me, but the rest of the movie was good!

Oh no, Rindy! You're kidding! I just went out and bought the movie. I haven't watched it yet though. I loved the first one!

Oh CelticRose, doesn't mean you won't like it. I mean it was ok but of course the first one was the best..Let me know what you think.

Right now, I'm watching Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone on DVD. Been awhile since I've watched it. velho.gif

Rindy, we watched "Meet the Fochers" last night. It had some very funny scenes in it, but I agree that "Meet the Parents" was much better. smile.gif

Since yesterday was cold and rainy, we had a movie fest. Watched Shall We dance then Laws of Attraction and Taking Lives. Since Richard Gere and Pierce Brosnan are so easy on the eyes, I naturally enjoyed the first two better than the last. biggrin.gif

Last movie I saw on the big screen: Sin City.
Last movie I watched on dvd: King Arthur.

Sin City is an amazing film. It's destined to be one of those movies that propelled the industry forward in terms of use of imagery and visuals. It's like nothing I'd ever seen before. As said in another post - I have to agree 100%, Clive Owen as Dwight is fantastic! It has a fabulous ensemble cast, which follows the graphic novel frame by frame. I definitely recommend it.

King Arthur I saw in the movie theater last July when it opened. I've now watched it on dvd several times, and I love the director's cut. It's like a new movie to me. I'm so glad the director Antoine Fuqua was able to get the movie he wanted made (as opposed to the sanitized Disney version) finally before the viewing public. It's awesome!

I don't know...I liked it. It was kind of a cross between X-men and a Kung Fu movie. After all, it is derived from the Marvel Comics character like X-men. I LOVED X-men, so I liked this one too... cool.gif

What amazed me by the director's cut Rindy, is how different it is. I don't know if it was the fact that I hadn't seen the film since last July or what, but it seemed quite different.

Are you enjoying Dragonfly? It's such a wonderful book in the series. I do love me some Jamie Fraser. wink.gif I only have a few chapters of Fiery Cross yet to read and I'm dreading finishing it. Oh well, I guess I'll survive until DG's next book comes out this fall... tongue.gif
