My husband and I finally got to see "SAW" last night...it was pretty good, actually. I did NOT expect what happened at the end....and about the only thing I didn't like about it was how they left it hanging. I don't know, maybe they meant to leave it like that? all I know is that kind of ending always bugs me, but the rest of the movie was good!
Tonight my cousin and I went and saw Sin City with Clive Owen in it. But I didn't find it was that good and I wasn't sure what the story line was all about but I was just happy to see Clive Owen. I'm also going to watch King Arthur tonight since it's kind of slow here at work.
Since yesterday was cold and rainy, we had a movie fest. Watched Shall We dance then Laws of Attraction and Taking Lives. Since Richard Gere and Pierce Brosnan are so easy on the eyes, I naturally enjoyed the first two better than the last.
Last movie I saw on the big screen: Sin City. Last movie I watched on dvd: King Arthur.
King Arthur I saw in the movie theater last July when it opened. I've now watched it on dvd several times, and I love the director's cut. It's like a new movie to me. I'm so glad the director Antoine Fuqua was able to get the movie he wanted made (as opposed to the sanitized Disney version) finally before the viewing public. It's awesome!
"Dinna be afraid," he said softly. "There's two of us now." ~Jamie Fraser~
I loved King Arthur. I haven't seen the directors cut Merewyn, but I bet it is as good as you say.
your signature makes me want to go read my Dragonfly in Amber...I am almost done with it...
What amazed me by the director's cut Rindy, is how different it is. I don't know if it was the fact that I hadn't seen the film since last July or what, but it seemed quite different.
Are you enjoying Dragonfly? It's such a wonderful book in the series. I do love me some Jamie Fraser. I only have a few chapters of Fiery Cross yet to read and I'm dreading finishing it. Oh well, I guess I'll survive until DG's next book comes out this fall...
