Quantum of Solace.
It's Bond, what can I say? Except that Daniel Craig makes a very good 007. But there is no humor in the films anymore. Kind of miss that.

I watched "Stop Loss". As I was watching this I could remember when my brother was talking with my Dad about the possibility of him getting sent back to Desert Strom. At the time I couldn't see how they could do this as he had served his 4 years and was out. He had said they could call him back up any time for the next 2 years. I understand now. I am sorry but I think it is not right once your out...your out.... done

I saw Made of Honor. It was fair. No matter what your age you really need to see Madagascar II. I will be singing "You've got to move it, move it", for a long time.

I haven't been to the movies for a while but I've seen several movies at friends houses in the last month.

Hancock-pretty cool movie
Mr. Woodcock- funnier then I thought it would be
Clone Wars- I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan so, I LOVED IT!
Spiderwick- very fun twist on movies about fairies
Hell Boy II- I hope they make more

there are more but I can't think of the rest right now.

We saw 'Wall-E' just last night (we love anything Pixar so we bought it!) and it was absolutely delightful. The animation is astounding, but the storyline was quite thought-provoking regarding wastefulness and pollution of our earth.

Little Wall-e reminded me of the first Wallace & Gromit movie when they went to the moon and found a robot there... this new robot is a cross between that one and, say Johnny 5.

I highly recommend the movie!

Accidentally I saw on TV a part of a reportage (I think by history channel), which impress me such, that I watched the complete reportage triply by net again.

There was a story about the "Ice-Road" which starts in Yellowknife in the Canadian North-West Territories. In every winter is built this road again, because winter is the only season you can reach the diamant mines in the Northwest Territories overland. I should better say over ice because the longest part of this road drives across the frozen lakes in this region.
The reportage tells the stories of the "Ice-Road Truckers" they carry in every "Ice-Road season" (r.a. 60 days) thousands of hauls from Yellowknife to the diamant mines in the North...

Well, all Canadians here maybe will say: "So what? Ice Road..." but I was impress deepest. What a feat, to build such a road every year and carry thereon these lots of hauls. That's really a heavy job... impressively!

Watched Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian last night. We really enjoyed it, evenn more than the first movie. Also like it because the actress that plays Susan is a dead ringer for a niece of mine.

Leelee, How was the new underworld? I'm not sure if I will like it much, I was a little let down by the sequel to the first.

Last movie that I sat through was Twilight (with a date) I was one of 7 guys in a packed movie theater! I'll admit I did enjoy the film, though I enjoyed the date better.

oops.gif I bugga'd up....I seen the first one "Underworld" (rerun on TV rolleyes.gif). I was probably thinking of the new one...those darn advertisements...I guess I'll have to tune into the second one. If it's worth seeing Evolution, I will probably wait to see it on T.V. or rent it "cheap" since you are stating the sequel was none too impressive.

My Niece and many other friends I know seen Twighlight and enjoyed it. I think I would like to read the series of books first before I see it.

I am glad you enjoyed your date wink.gif BTW, did you catch any of the Movie laugh.gif

I caught enough of it to know it wasn't bad, it could have been better with a little more action but maybe that'll come in the sequels since it is a lengthy series of books that will undoubtedly follow the trend of Harry Potter and so many other book to movie films.
My date read all the series before going to the show and said the book was better but felt they did a good job overall.

Underworld two wasn't all bad but it lacked the modern day vampire social theme the 1st had.
