I just got in and pulled up a stool. The ice is starting to break up in the harbor, and I'm always ready for a good song. I'm pretty old-school and have played six string steel guitar, fingerstyle for about fifty years now. It's fun working up the arrangements, but seisuns are generally in unison playing so I don't get called in much. I write some. The lack of a reliable round the clock resource for Celtic music brought me here, and I look forward to getting to know the community. I'm working up some arrangements of one of Robin Bullock's tunes and several of John Whelan's. I have been a Silly Wizard fan from the beginning and have arranged some of Phil Cunnigham's tunes for solo guitar, too. For those who enjoy a nip, I prefer Tullamore Dew. Guinness is a food staple, not a luxury.

Wow, welcome to the site. Looks like you are a well entrenched musician! I agree, my favorite meal is that of the liquid variety - I prefer Guinness Extra Foreign stout. It's good for the heart (in moderation).

Glad to have you here!
