This may be a dumb question but I just have to ask it. Is the sound quality of the web stream different from the Live365 player? It seems to me that the quality is better with the Live365 player but that could be my imagination.

The Live365 uses MP3 Pro automatically so the sound quality is better. This is a special way to listen to the music we stream. You can get the same effect for our premium account by using WINAMP and manually enabling MP3Pro. Go to the control panel and you will see the download and instructions.

The Best of Highlander Radio is a brand new stream that will have much better quality and a connection. If our site goes down or if we have problems, this stream will be uneffected so you can still listen when we have issues with our site.

Right now we have selected 1,600 songs into this playlist for rotation, but over the next weeks we are going to be reviewing all tracks and adding new tracks to truly make this the best Celtic Music Playlist ever! Also as we receive new music, we will only be putting the best tracks into this playlist, so this will be a really good sounding stream now and in the future!

Hey, what happened to the Sunday morning Celtic Christian tunes on Highlander Radio. That's always been my backup plan for sleeping in late or working a shift
