On the way home from my daughters tonight I was behind a semi that struck a midsized auto broadside in the drivers side door. I doubt there is anyone more in need of prayers tonight than the lady in the auto.
There were no air bags activated front or side.
I was unable to get a pulse and there was very little blood. Both bad signs.
I am sorry also Patch. There is always the "what if" thoughts one has to deal with after experiencing something like that. It nevers hurts to believe in miracles and to send up prayers for all that might be effected.
"Nature always wears the colors of the spirit." -
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.
In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks.
"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."
Since it happened late at night, The morning paper had no coverage. Under HIPPA, they can release no info. I have, in my working years, seen some very bad accidents and this would be there with the worst. The fact that she was alive the next day amazed me. As fragile as we are, we can survive some horrible injuries so one should never be counted out!
If I hear more I will post the info.
