I'm seeing winter storm warnings for the Midwest and New England. Have you folks had enough snow yet? We expect the low 80s by midweek here in Sunny Southwest Florida! cool.gif

I welcome the snow. I wish it would come. With snow we would not be so cold or have so many main breaks and so much ice. This 15 or below and high winds is too much.

SNOW! SNOW! BEAUTIFUL SNOW! CLEAN SNOW! No mud! No heat! GOD I hate summer! It could be Fall and winter ALL year 'round! Anything over 60 degrees is TOO hot and we should roll up and go home! Summer's heat is the death of those who work out side and is to be avoided at ALL costs! NO, I haven't had enough winter yet, ask me in 5-7 years.

I really hate to snow on your parade folks but if you really want some snow, Come Get Some!!!!!
I had it, I have shoveled enough, slipped enough and have pushed and rocked enough cars out of the snowbanks for this year. I'm tired of below zero weather and wind chills in the minus double digits. Want snow? Come on up and Welcome to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! Hopefully the roads are clear and you can get through.
Snowfall
(in inches, to 7 a.m.)
Monday: none
Season: 123.0
January: 44.3
On ground: 22.0
But hey guess what we get sun and clear skies tomorrow and a whole 21 degrees.
It's suppose to snow for the next two weeks after that. Every day. sad.gif

With all the snow, how are the ski resorts doing? With the economy as is, do people still support the resorts? Or is the weather not right for skiing?

I agree with you so much and we don't even get that much at the other end of the state, I don't think I could live way up there and not sure how you do it.

I want to go back to Jamaica!!!!!!

Harlot;

To put it as politely as I can "I Hate, Despise, Detest, Abhor, and Dislike", that insidious white stuff that falls from the sky as a blight upon the Earth. The temperature could fall to -700C and I wouldn't mind at all it is that wet, cold, clinging, white, fluffy, stuff, that I can do with out.

Ah yes another typical morning in the great white north. Woke up this morning to find another gift from the heavens..........2 more inches of snow. I couldn't agree more with Camac on this subject. If it never snowed again it would suit me fine. At least in two weeks time my wife and I will be basking in 80 degree weather and sitting on a beach in the Dominincan.

The Scots of course insist that the pipes produce music. But the point is after all not too important. For those who love them, the pipes can evoke more vividly than any other instrument, high emotion, they can inspire valor, and tell of tragic tales of battles long ago. They can call forth merriment or sentiment. It does not matter what the sound is called, those who are deaf to its merits would not understand anyway.

Camac I fear my carryon is a wee bit on the small size for you to fit into and me thinks the airline frowns on passengers travelling in steerage. I will not miss anything about winter while I am away. The only white stuff I will see wil be sand.

Yeah I've had it with the snow. I love it in December for the holidays but after that it can stop.
Winter seems to last longer now too. When I was a kid I thought I remembered having a spring jacket on in during March and seeing no more snow and warming temperatures. Now it seems we don't get the great weather til May!
Ok gotta to go shovel now and move some of the snow that's coming down at this very moment before it changes over to sleet like they say it will by the afternoon.

I have had more than enough snow. I am once again trapped in my home because I cannot walk safely in the ice due to my stroke. I really hate this. Spring where are you?

It finally dawned on me why it is snowing so much. It's the Inuit, they have been feeding blubber to the weather Gods to make it snow in the south. I think they are trying to get back at us for the Global Warming.
