Barleyjuice on QVC!

user posted image

Word comes to us that the fabulous Barleyjuice will be featured throughout the day on QVCs Rose of Tralee special on Friday, August 29th, 2008. Barleyjuice will be premiering their new double CD release, The Barleyjuice Irish Collection. This 2 CD set, inspired by the hard working, strong willed Irish immigrant, features traditional classics Whiskey in the Jar, Stack of Barley, Ill Tell Me Ma, and many more performed in the band's unique and distinct Barleyjuice style. Also included are many Barleyjuice originals, such as Weekend Irish, the award-winning Whats Up Yours?, and the previously unreleased Celtic Girl. The band will be highlighted throughout the entire special in the midnight 1am hour, 9am - 12noon and 9pm midnight. Check local listings for QVC in your area. For more information call 609-404-4777 or visit them on the web at http://www.barleyjuice.com.

What a great way to spend the day listening to one of the premier Celtic Rock bands perform in your own living room. Crank up that home theater system and sit back to listen to some great Irish tunes. You just might have to buy their CD that day! Make sure to tell all of your Celtic loving friends and family about this special cable event. It's going to be great!

This is exciting! I heard Kyf for the first time this afternoon about it. This should be a great event. I also heard "Celtic Girl" for the first time too, very nice. I think they have another winner on their hands.

I was watching QVC this morning and they have alot of Irish / Celtic products on sale. Actually, some of the prices did not seem really that bad.

I am pretty sure that Barleyjuice will make their appearance between 9 - 12 today (EST). They have the IRISH FESTIVAL on their schedule.

Looking forward to it!

The new album looks to be a great double CD Best of Barleyjuice package. I caught them talking with one of the salespeople on QVC but that was about it. My wife watched at her workplace and while wishing she had a ton of money so she cold order a sweater she caught them playing a song but she didn't say which one. I'll probably order the new CD when I get paid. If you want it you have to go to their website store and them click on the hear it/buy it tab of one of the older albums to get where you can hear samples of it and ordering info. Celtic Girl is very infectious and I hope they make a video of it. Good job lads!!
