A solitaire junky

I must have a fix

Starts much like a diet

One donut wonít miss

Three cards at a time

Iíll turn till I win

The track marks youíll find

Left on my behind

So shuffle the deck

And play one more time

Have nothing to loose

Except precocious time

The symptoms the same

As substance abuse

My pupilís dilate

From playing too late

But one of these days

Iíll play the cards out

From under my skin

Canít say without doubt

Weíre all poets, only some of us write it down. JC 9/27/08

Anyone who has the courage to disagree, deserves all do respect. JC 4/28/08

Life is a loosing battle, so you might as well live it up.

Life should be like skiing, you have the most fun on the way down. J.C. 8/17/07

Take their word for it, and thatís just what youíll get.

Iíll be the first to apologies, as long as I get one back.

It's a hard fact of dependence of any kind here that you describe in your poem John. And unfortunately the poor reality of our world.
Deep poem indeed.

Thanks LOA
