This isn't really a Scottish recipe (probably isn't Irish either) but I thought everyone might enjoy it.
1 quart half and half
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
2 Tablespoons vanilla
1 cup (or more to taste) chocolate syrup
1 1/4 cup (or more to taste) bourbon whiskey
1/2 cup sugar
Mix all ingredients well and let cure in the refrigerator for several days until flavors are mellowed. Shake often. Serve over crushed ice.
I tend to add a little more chocolate and cinnamon and a little less whiskey.
