Hi all,

For me, it's 12-year old Pure Malt Strathisla blended with either filtered rain water or if unavailable, Calastoga pure mountain spring water. I no longer find I have a liking for beer, wine or anything else, since I was never much of a drinker.

Oh, one other drink comes to mind - I keep a bottle on my boat - a good fifth of Pusser's Rum, which is a good way to keep the chill away on the night watch wink.gif , in moderation, of course!

Bottoms up!

Best cheers! Robbie

Beer- I really like Harp or Fat Tire. Bass is good as well.
I'll have to try the salt thing Rindy. Maybe I'lllike a darker stout that way.

Mixed- Margaritas are my favorite, but I also like Cape Cod and Sloe Gin Fizz

Never tried whiskey or scotch...I know...what's wring with me?!?!
I like tequilla though tongue.gif

It used to be that all American beers were cold bathwater. The advent of the microbrews changed that. Sam Adams is probably the only good mass production brand, and is basically a large collection of microbrews. I still like the British Bitter a lot. I thought Fat Tire was local to Washington State (Perticularly the Olympic Pennensula). I'd never heard of it before my trip. On our way back up the coast, we stopped at this little town, I think it was the night we spent in WestPort, actually. Fat Tire was all the rage! Everyone kept telling us we had to try it. Dad nor I either one had ever heard of it. Your post here is the second time I have ever heard of it. As I recall now, it was drinkable. I stuck with Guinness that night.

I like Arbor Mist Wines (more like wine drinks)...they're yummy! smile.gif

Guinness, Jameson and coke, Tullamore Dew and sweet and sour, Irish Cream on the rocks, any good mead, any MGD.

I also brew dandilion wise, rose wine, and cloven mead, and I have started to work with fruit meads.

Guinness, Finnegans Irish Amber, or Skullsplitter for the beer. If possible though I head straight for the mead-Bunratty, Chaucers, or some of that wonderful stuff they make for the MN Ren faire sold here www.the-mead-booth.com
Nummy!
Otherwise I go with Samual Adams or Killians if necessary.

I'm not much of a Beer drinker either, most are too bitter for me, but I do like the Pumpkinhead Ale (here at the Salem Beer Works). I also like what my hubby calls an Old Scottish Ale (he's done some home brewing in his time).

As far as liquor goes, please just give me some Bailey's - NO ice, and I'm happy as a clam. If there's no Bailey's around, then I'll just have to settle for some good ol' Dry Sack sherry wine.gif

Wine, well I'm not too fussy as long as it's more on the dry side. It really depends on the meal I'm having it with!
