Hello! I am Chuck Denton - not a new member, but a newly Upgraded member!! Yeah!! But I hope to be on here more frequently now.

I am in Lee's Summit, MO which is a suburb of Kansas City Missouri. I have an Irish Shop in the downtown area and just love it. Our community is perfect - the right size and atmosphere. If you're ever in town stop by.

I know that this is a great community too. I love everything Celtic - everything Irish.

I love Ireland. I went in 2005 and just couldn't get enough...some day I will.

Well thass enough of an intro. I'll be talking to you soon enough!

Well this is just awesome. And I thinkt ath it would work for a St. Patrick's Day Tree as well. My friends want me to put up an Irish tree in March, but I've never found an example befitting the occaision. Yours does.

And I have to compliment you on the neighborhood. It looks nice, like where I came from in Kansas City Kansas.

It's January 16th and already I've broken all of the resolutions that I thought about creating, yet haven't written down. That's just pitiful! Have a great New Year anyway!

The fact that students are not learning...it's just a myth. (You know, a female moth, right?)

This was hillarious! Thanks

Has anyone watched "The Wind That Shakes The Barley?" It is a very enlightening film about the Troubles in Ireland. The scenery is wonderful . Mairtin de Cogain , who plays in The Fuchia Band, is in the cast. I loved the film! I recommend it.

I loved all of these prayers and am a user of a lot of them. My favorite prayer is what the Blessed Virgin Mary said when she was asked to be the mother of Jesus. It simply says, do with me as you see fit, I trust in your goodness and love. We should all be so blind in our trust and faith in God. The name of the prayer is the Magnificat.

It's found in Luke 1, chapter 46. (Gee, I never quoted the bible before, but I want you to know that this is in scripture. A very short version is:

My sould magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior., for he has looked with favor on the lowliest of his servants. Surely from now on, all generations will call me blessed, for the Mighty One has done great things for me and holy is his name......

It goes on, but in the quietest times, it can humble you. It's my favorite.

I would love to pick up a Heather Dale CD, but am having a tough time finding it. Any more thought to have a web event with her? It would be worth while!

Happy Easter!

Please keep her.

I also think that whoever voted no meant to hit the yes button. It had to be a slip of the finger...

I love everything about the station. EVERYTHING!!! I only don't listen on Sundays from 10:00 - 12:00 (CST) when our own local Celtic Crossings radio station is on. It's our local Hiberninan radio station and I gotta be loyal!!

But I love Highlander Radio. I tell everyone that I can and have a link to my family's website so they can listen whil they read up on family news. clap.gif gossip.gif

I wish that we could get away with calling out the truth like they (Muslim Clerics and Osama) seem to be able to. They are all satisfied with calling the U.S. 'the Devil" when in fact they can't see the forest for the trees. If we would just start speading the same story that we truly believe that their demonic leaders have displaced the normally obedient and truly reverent Muslim leaders all in the name of Jihad. This has nothing to do with holy men or of spiritual philosophy.

One other thing that I am concerned about..in the 50's and 60's, I was raised and heard each and every day and on Sundays to pray for the conversion of Russia. I truly believe that the current situations there were due to prayer. I'm not condoning the conversion of the Muslim faith. I recommend that we pray for the turn-about of those who are fighting and killing. period. For whatever cause they believe this is justified. Maybe I'm just sleepy, but this seems to make sense to me...We need to pray. Again...more.

Goodnight...I'm off to bed.

My wife, my children; living and those not. My parents, the grand parents that I was fortunate to know...my friends, my life. I am a very lucky and happy man!

I love having places like this to say things like this!

Thank you!
