Another beautiful place to see !
And not so far from my home.
I've visited Spain only one time, in 1999, it was the first holiday with my wife, I went with a Cordoba 1.4 without air conditioned, driving lot and lot of hours to arrive in Catalunya...

You live in a very nice place !

Thanks for everyone:

Hi ilpiccolobardo, its true that you don´t live so far.

Cantabria and the north of Spain, is diferent to the tipical spanish images that the people think about Spain.
Cordoba and Andalucia, is the land with more tourist people. The wheater in Andalucia is hotter (about 40 and 45 grades centigrades in summer), and in Cantabria 20, 25 grades is the top normaly.

So, Cantabria is green, humedity and there is a lot of water, and the south of Spain is dry, sunny and there is a lot of problem, becouse there is not a lot of water.

Cantabria is more similar to Scotland, for example, with taller mountains.

More images. Thank you

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect Spain to look like. I think most peoples perceptions are actually more of Mexico than of Spain. There's the idea of the architecture, which appears to be spot on, but beyond that I had no real idea what Spain might look like. If anything your pictures might re-enforce any notions I might have had and even surpass in beauty.

You must come to the States and stay with us at the Highlander House (click on below) and you can rent a Harley from the local dealer and ride The Blue Ridge Parkway and other roads in the mountains of North Carolina.

Make sure you click on the Gallery in the Highlander House page and check out the view from the House.

Click on my nickname to the left and it will take you to my profile and you can check out my 1992 Harley FXRC. smile.gif

Thanks:

jajaja ilpiccolobardo, collect under-glasses with marks of beers is good too. I do it too... tongue.gif

I have four motorbikes, but i am not millonaire, i have repaired they for several years. Yes, the child in my avatar is my son, LUCAS, he is dressing a tipical and old suit from Cantabria traditional.

Very beautiful the photos in the Highlander House A Shrule Egan, and your bike is wonderful. You are all right: my dream is that i go to USA and travel from the east cost to the west cost by motorbike...but still it is a dream...i hope to do it sometime... thumbs_up.gif beer_mug.gif

Thanks thumbs_up.gif note.gif beer_mug.gif

How magnificent! I have a better idea of Spain now, after having spent all last spring in study of the Spanish Civil War, but I still had no idea it was so beautifully mountainous along the coast. Is this where the iron mining used to be? When I first looked I thought it might be the beginnings of the Pyrenees. It is similar to parts of the Scottish highlands. I don't want to make sad references, but the images of the village in the valley, all the little red roofs, and the inside of the town with the beautiful little stone bridge reminds me of the pictures of Gernika before the destruction.

You are a great photographer.
