Please join me in prayer for my mom, who's heart isn't working like it should. She had radiation treatments for cancer a few months ago and looks like it's really done a number on her heart. Her name is Norma Roberts. She's 76 years young. My prayer is she'll be around alittle longer, if it's God's will. Pray for my family, that we will be able to accept His will in this.

Shall Renew Their Strength,
They Shall Mount Up With Wings
As Eagels,
They Shall Run,
And Not Be Werry;
They Shall Walk,
And Not Faint." ISAIAH 40:31

Both of you have been added to my prayer list. God speed and hang in there.

Definitely praying! Keep us posted, aklassie. You will find a lot of folks here pray for loved ones.

Lord bless you and have a great day!

Well, today they ran some test on Mom's heart and only about 35% of it is working. 4 years ago she had a heart attack and they replaced one of the valves now it looks like that's the only one working as it should. They could go back in and replace the others, but Mom doesn't want that again. I don't think her body is up to it either. The doc. are ajusting her meds and sending her home sometime in the morning. There's 8 of us kids and it's going to be hard to let her go. I learned about Jesus at her knee. She's been the spiritual strength in our family. So I know I'll see her again. It's just the letting go. Pray for us.

Letting her go is very hard. I understand that all too well. Enjoy the time that you have and just be there. When the Lord calls her remember that she's in a better place and you will see her again. Take care and God bless.

Sending some more prayers you're way. Will be here when you need us. May God's peace be upon you all during these hard times. Shalom.

Thanks ya'll, do don't know how much your kind words mean to me. This forum is like part of my family, been with it almost since Paul started it. God bless every one of you. Your prayers mean so much. Pray for my dad, they've been together for 57years. I fear he's going to take it very hard, he's not in the best of health himself.

Up date on my mom. Got to go spend the weekend with her. She looks good and enjoyed getting to see her g-grand daughter. hospice came today to set up her meds and to find out how she wanted thing. Pray for my dad, he thinks he can take care of her without help. There's six of us daughters, all willing to help him.
One thing that was wonderful about this weekend is getting to go the church with my youngest sister to the church we grew up in and seeing so many people who love my parents and are there also if we need them. It gave me such calm to sit the in the presents of the Lord. It was such a wonderful peace. Wish I could have taken my mom. That's the one thing she's missed doing since she's gotten sick.
Just keep us in your prayers. Put I feel I don't have to ask because I already know that ya'll are. Thank you sooooooo much and God bless everyone of you. I'll keep you updated. I love everyone of you.

aklassie, I wish you all the strength and serenity to walk through this day by day and adjust to each new thing that arises -- giving your father the help the needs but at the same time the private time with his dear one that he needs -- and little by little letting your mom slip away, as peacefully as may be. I wish for you too what can sometimes happen, which is that her last gift to the family is a deeper, closer and enduring bond among you all, as you see her on her way.

God bless you all.

Went to see Mom this weekend she looks so much better. hospice brought in oxygen for her to use when ever needed. She sleep with it now, her color and strength has improved. I really believe that if they hadn't brought it in we would have lost her last week. Thanks again for your prayers. I love ya'll!!!!

I wanted ya'll to know that Mom passed last Wensday morning. She died in her sleep like we had all prayed she would. Now she's gone home to be with the Lord. I miss her. Please still keep us all in your prayers. My dad needs them now, he and mom were merried for 57 years.
