This is a rare word indeed I could not even find it in my dictionary.
But it is used as well in medical term as in " The anfractuosity of the mind or brain" which I find on the net.
Which is synonymous of "winding".

Thanks for the word Tami.

Stay tuned
Tami

MyLOA, The word is very unusual. It also refers to any winding, crooked, twisted path, crevice, canyon. Also maybe used in legal terminology to refer to a convoluted legal argument meant to confuse rather than clarify.
My sister and I like to compete with each other using words. I can't wait to spring this one on her!!!
Camac, My friend, I am sorry to hear of your friends last patrol.
TamiMcLeod, Come on , use it in a sentence!

His percieved luminosity diminished as the subject matter in discussion became more anfractuous.

Ok, I hope you will not think my luminosity is dimishing, as I can't hear this because I still use Windows 98!!!! Ok, I hate to change, it still pretty much does everything I want it to, with some occasional needs, like now!! My office uses Windows XP Professional BUT I refused to let them change my computer. Maybe its time??!!?? Maybe not!!! They had to drag me kicking and screaming away from Windows 3.1 to this 98, now I gotta change again!!! I just changed 5 years ago, how many times we gotta do this!!!????
