FORT WORTH, Texas

A Hillcrest High School student will graduate with perfect attendance for his entire school career.

Senior Shawn Wingrove said he always thought school was fun and wanted to see how long he could go without missing a day.

Wingrove is also a black belt in tae kwon do, an Eagle Scout, the drum captain for the band and a member of the National Honor Society.

That kid is a machine!!! Wow, I really did not have a wild hair to see how long I could go without missing a day. I used to have my sister write notes for when I skipped school, she could sign the note like my mom. Hehe, was only caught once.

That is a pretty impressive record. Too bad you didn't go to my school, Aragorn, I could have used your sisters talents! I used to try everything, but my Mom was tough. Unless I had a fever of over 101, I was going to school.

My parent's motto was "if you can walk, you can go to school" biggrin.gif

However, I did end up missing a lot of time in high school because of my migraines and very messed up immune system. All I can say is that that kid is very impressive!
