Here's hoping we have the best Winter Olympics in history to enjoy! Any Olympic news can be posted in this thread, (so long as there's no negative news, like such and such team caught cheating or doping, and nothing that can even remotely be spun politically. The entire point of the Olympics is to recognise our different nations without acknowledging prior tensions.)

Peace around the world, and joy at watching our best play games! In the SNOW! biggrin.gif

View the opening Ceremonies in HD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-OMzDdmi0Nc It should be a treat for any Celtic Radio member, since the Maritime tribute had 180 dancing fiddlers, 6 featured fiddlers on the main stage, and more tartan than you'll see in one stadium celebrating a worldwide event! You can tell I'm excited by all the exclamation marks I'm using!

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

It's an awful tragedy that we have to have our first Olympic news clip about the loss of an Olympian before the games even officially began, but we should start by reflecting on the loss of Georgian Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili in training yesterday. Sadly, this was the only news story I could find that didn't have video links of the crash or photos of the events that happened directly after.

I'm going to wait, I guess, to find an actual VIDEO clip of the opening ceremonies. I'm sorry for not viewing it before posting, as I was waiting for the video to load when I typed it out.

I watched my neighbor kid try his damndest to try and win a medal in Men's Moguls
last night. He came very close indeed, but tried just a bit TOO hard and lost control of his second jump. Keep watching for Patrick Deneen in years to come, they don't call him "The Rocket" for nothing!

Forums are always a main source of getting accurate information and provide you the handy results; you can get instant and reliable information which surely helps you in any field of your concern. I am post graduate in IT and HR. These days I am doing preparation of different online certifications and I found mcse is the best helping source which is providing 100% authentic material. I also spend my extra time in surfing internet, listening music and playing games. After my exams I would like to join your group.
