| Join us at Swift Run Lodge on Sat. 7/20 at 7:30 pm for the high energy music of Moch Pryderi, one of Virginia's oldest pan-Celtic bands. Together for 18 years, the Mochs perform traditional reels, jigs, and ballads from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany and Galicia, with occasional forays into Appalachia. Their instrumentation is epic! Celtic Harps, including the rare Welsh Triple Harp, Irish Bouzouki, Fiddle, Welsh Crwth, Bodhran, small pipes, Welsh pibgorns, Scottish HIghland pipes, and whistles. We HOPE the concert will take place on our deck in the woods (we'll move inside in case of inclement weather), so please bring lawn chairs, a picnic or BYOB if you'd like. Homemade desserts, fruit, snacks and soft drinks will be available gratis. A donation of $20/each that will go directly to the performer would be greatly appreciated. |
