Finally I am able to take advantage of this site. Living rurally here in Canada generally means you have to rely on telephone lines for internet access. No fancy cable out here! As of last week, things are looking up in my town north of Toronto. We are currently a 'test station' for a broadband company that is enabling rural people to get faster and easier internet connection. Before now, to listen to Highlander Radio with a player was...well...uh very painful. Now with the broadband, I can finally listen to a great assortment of celtic music here note.gif ! I also know there is one station that available on BellExpress Vu that is only Celtic music based but we don't get that music station.
Well for today, life is good, no..wait its great so go me here biggrin.gif

Sorcia,

I am so happy for you! That is great. Ya know, we have tried our best to make CelticRadio.net work for dial-up; but it was truly designed more for broadband. It is so much more faster and enjoyable and the music sounds so good with the faster connection.

Also, just a quick plug for our broadcast; make sure to checkout the MP3 PRO player at Live365 which effectively doubles the quality of our broadcast to near CD listening.

BTW, love your website. I was just checking it out. We have a 3 year old Canadian Black Lab named Hunter. He is such a baby with us, but a very good protector of the family. 120 pounds of lapping, drooling and playful lab!

It's good to meet ya' Sorcia! So glad your going broadband. I remember when we were on dial-up at my house and then went broadband, I couldn't believe the difference. It makes a world of difference! biggrin.gif
