Celtic Radio Community > Technical Support > Internet Explorer 9 - Beta

Just a note to let you all know that Internet Explorer 9 - Beta is working real good with Celtic Radio.

There definitely is a speed improvement in how all of the pages load; especially with a new javascript engine that speeds up the execution of these scripts.

We've tested most of our sites including Medieval Kingdom. There does seem to be one little issue with graphics in the game, but it is only effecting a few of the pages.

One issue we did encounter was with Live365. We could not get the Live365 web-player sound; although it seemed to be playing. So, this could be a slight issue until Live365 makes some changes or it just could be something we were doing wrong.

In any event, CelticRadio.net is 100% compatible with IE9.

I rather enjoyed when Live365 had that pop up player. Now you just get directed to a certain web page. I had to go and change all my settings to go and get it to play. And if I leave that webpage-end of music. Guess its just an incentive to purchase the player but it still sucks for those of us who can't afford such things. I'm glad that Highlander radio has the detachable plyer. Christmas music has been great.

I think the player is ok with Live365. I agree, I kept trying to detach it; but it is fixed on the page.

I also keep changing my preferences to the older MP3 plugin rather than flash because I think the sound quality is better.
