Wow, CD's seems to be coming atleast a few times a week. Our latest Highlander Radio musician is Hugh Morrison. Hugh is a three-row button key accordion player, originally from the far north of Scotland, now hailing in Houston, Texas. Of special note is the fact that he learned some of his musical talents from Jimmy Shand. He has also toured much of Europe and has a very colorful musical background. I think that while most Celtic musicians today are out doing the same thing, Hugh distingushes himself by following in the footsteps of the traditional accordian players from the past. I personally enjoyed his album very much. 3 Thumbs up! You can visit http://www.hughmorrison.co.uk/ site for more information and a biography!

Well, it's nice to have a steady stream of new music without spending a dime! But, whats even more important is giving quality musicians like Hugh Morrison, Straight Furrow and Contradiction an avenue to get their music heard.
