]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07
WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
My next-door neighbour just called me to tell me that it's going to be in the twenties tonight! Where did that come from? And it was so nice when I left the house around noon today. Good grief!

So much for envying you southern folk for the warmer temperatures! I have, however, no pity.
Did I mention that Michigan weather sucks?

Normal is a relative term. For some reason it is not a term my relatives use to describe me.
You know that snow that was probably the lead story on the network news tonight? Well, we had it yesterday. Midway Airport was reporting 5 1/2" this morning, and then we had some lake effect snow later on today.
Now it's just plain freezing out.

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
P.S. I took a pic of some trees in my area and sent it to one of the local TV stations. They air some viewers' weather pictures during the 10PM newscast.
I'll trade you some warm, dry weather for a wee bit o'snow. Okay? When I went out tonight, I found that I had to take off my sweater because I got too warm. sheesh
It's finally the time of year I like - in the low 60's during the day, with a fresh breeze and sunny as all get-out - perfect for sailing or riding - and night-time lows in the mid-40's - perfect sleeping weather!
Now, if I could just get a little rain at night, with bright, sunny days, that would be perfection! I'll remember to include that in my prayers tonight!
Gwenlee hope you get your rain if its needed Glad you got a little bit of snow Haggishead. Muircheartach I am jealous..."warm whats that?" lol pretentiouswomba sounds good to me..
