Boasting Pirate
A seaman meets a pirate in a bar, and take turns boasting of their adventures on the high seas. The seaman notes that the pirate has a peg-leg, hook, and an eyepatch.
The seaman asks "So, how did you end up with the peg-leg?"
The pirate replies "We were in a storm at sea, and I was swept overboard into a school of sharks. Just as my men were pulling me out a shark bit my leg off."
"Wow!" said the seaman. "What about your hook"?
"Well...", replied the pirate, "While my men and I were plundering in the middle east, I was caught stealing from a merchant and the punishment for theft in the middle east is the loss of the hand that steals"
"Incredible!" remarked the seaman. "How did you get the eyepatch?"
"A sea gull dropping fell into my eye.", replied the pirate.
"You lost your eye to a sea gull dropping?" the sailor asked incredulously.
"Well...", said the pirate, "...it was my first day with the hook."

I don`t know about that. I think there are a lot of good law enforcement officers out there. I personally know quite a few but then I think it depends on where you live and how large the city or town is you live in. There are bad apples in every barrel and I a firm believer in firm profiling of all law enforcement because I have known a few who were "loose cannons" and let their authority run wild. |

I have been wondering how other people are doing with spam e-mail. Mine has increased by four fold since the economy went into it`s tail spin. T times, it comes in faster than I can discard it. One thing I have noticed is, no porn. That`s a big plus but I don`t know if it is my spam filter or all the bad guys got caught and put out of business. All I know is there are a lot of people out there trying to get you to buy stuff. |
