There will be a wreath laying in Aberdeen at the Wallace statue on Friday 19th August. Following that at a venue still to be arranged, there will be music provided by Scottish folk duo Shiltrum and straight from their US tour Clann An Drumma.

(Clann an Drumma provided music for the Hollywood hit "We Were Soldiers" and this band will just blow you away to get some idea of their music go to http://www.clannandrumma.com, click on radio and turn your speakers right up.)

The following day is the Stonehaven march which will go from Stonehaven up to the castle. What is confirmed so far is that Gaberlunzie and Clann An Drumma will play in the evening in the Stonehaven town hall. However there are plans to add to the itinerary dependent on interest and finances.

Quite a few folk from outside of Scotland are expected to be attending as many will be heading to London for the culmination of Davie Ross's walk (http://www.walkforwallace.com) on Tuesday 23rd August.

Anyone wishing to help can purchase Scottish passport covers from http://www.siol-nan-gaidheal.com/store/index.php. The profit from these goes to help run the events in Aberdeen and Stonehaven. And it also gives you a Scottish passport cover that is not a joke item.

Wow, now that would be an awesome event to attend. Wish I had the funds to be there.
