CELTICMATES

I not sure if anyone has visted this site, as it's the frist time I've seen it at the top of CELTICRADIO's home page. Well the cat died and I went and checked it out. It seems that the age range is 19 year olds that or looking to be mated up with some Celtic people that are looking for the same(as if they don't have enough other sites to be picking from). The females out number the males but they have some nice pictures. They also are from the USA. Nicely done web page I well give them that. I was just wondering if anyone has checked it out and what did you think?

Harlot, I was surprised as all heck to see CelticMates advertised here on CR. I did peep in and take a look, I'm not looking, just curious If a person was interested I'm sure age doesn't matter, young, in between and seniors. I know several people that have hooked up on the internet, met face to face, fallen in love and tied the knot...things haven't changed that much over the years, there used to be mail order brides and now it's cyber brides or whatever!

I looked out of curiosity and all the 19 year olds scared the h-ll out of me. My youngest daughter is a little over twice their age!

Like you I was a bit surprised too. I'm not saying that I don't think it's bad that they have that now a days,gosh my son found his girlfriend on one and my daughter's friend found her husband on myspace. It just took me back abit,so I check it out. And as the age between two people shouldn't make a differnce, it did in my case. Some days I felt like I was raising another kid. He was 17 years younger then me. Now I would like someone who is a little more grayer and fulled out.

Just had a look myself and I say if your young or older and looking for a mate go for it.
I also want to point out that this site is created by the founders of CelticRadio as is VIDEOCELT.COM. I do think it is very well put together. What I have had the time to see anyhow. It will be interesting to see how it all works out.

Glad to hear some discussion about this! Understand that those young 19 year olds are just test data! So don't be scared off. We are going to clean that up soon once we get some sign-ups.

We don't expect this site to get going until 6-12 months as we get people to sign-up for the service. Also, we are going to see if we can tweak it a bit so that people just look for online friends can join up too.

Our main driver for this is to provide a safe and non-commercialize site like you see everywhere else. All those sites are trying to make money off people and it is just not right.

CelticMates will be a free 100% enabled site with no gimicks now or in the future.

I was not belittling the site. I just could not believe that many 19 year olds would be on the same site. I do think it is a good idea.

So glad that was just a test had me scared for a minute. Still all in all great idea.
