Shadows;

When I was a kid I grew up across the street from Gilbeys Gin Distilley. If you saw what was used to make Gin you wouldn't drink it. Everyday dumptrucks full of rotting fremented grain would arrive stinking to high heavens.

That is what makes good alcohol, it is rotting fermenting grain. Good for Gilbeys!
All hard alcohols are rotted ferment grain!
LOL!

Gin is good stuff. Last night I had a classic martini:

4 parts Gin (I used Trayton's)
1 part Vermouth (Used Noilly Prat)
1-2 dashes of Orange Bitters (I used Regan's)
1 twist lemon

Stir (do NOT shake) and strain into cocktail glass. Mmmmm...

Shadows;

I know that good alcohols comes from rotting fermented grain. Use to love the stuff. But I havent had a drink of Hard Liqour in 37 years just 1/4 glass of white wine with Xmas dinner and even that is never finished. Usually just have a couple or 3 sips then one of my girls finish it.
