In conjunction with the U.S. Release of "The Wind that Shakes the Barley", Charles Dewhurst from No Celtic Boundaries has managed to put together a show (on very short order) featuring an interview with one of the Actors from the movie - Máirtín de Cógáin - and featuring some of his excellent musical and story telling works.

Máirtín de Cógáin is actually well known on Highlander Radio as he submitted his CD "False Start" and plays in the Fuschia Band which is also featured on Highlander Radio. He is known for his music and his story telling abilities which we air during during our bedtime story hour every nite.

The interview and show will aire on Friday night at 10:00 PM EST. Anyone interested in this movie is urged to tune into this interview/show. Charles has done an excellent job putting this together and Máirtín gives alot of insight and information about his role in the movie.

During the show we will be giving away a beautiful full size movie poster of "The Wind that Shakes the Barley." This is a gorgeous full color poster, the type you would see in movie theaters. It measure about 4 feet by 3 feet.

To be eligible for the free poster, make sure you are logged in and and listening to the show Friday nite!

Ok, the No Celtic Boundaries show featuring the Máirtín de Cógáin interview is now playing. For those that may not known, Máirtín de Cógáin plays a role in the new moview "The Wind that Shakes the Barley" and is also a member of the Fuschia band as well as a great Irish story teller!

We will check the online member list around 10:50 tonight and either randomly choose a member or choose a member that responds to this message thread!

drat...and I'm going to have to miss it I'm afraid....but I'm still so glad I turned Mairtin on to CR when I was posting in the Fuschia Band guestbooks! He's really done some amazing stuff lately and it's great to hear his stuff here!
