On May 21st, 2005 I came across a new festival (name above) while on my vacation. I hope to give you more info for next year cause this is probably one of the nicest and beautiful locations for a festival I've ever seen!

Their festival was a little different as they even had a royal court proceed in the clans during the festival which is similar to Scottish Festival's gathering of the clans but never seen a royal court before.

I do have pictures of which haven't downloaded yet but will do soon. Also have some nice pictures of their court and "Enter The Haggis" singing.

So come back and check up on me! If I haven't posted the pictures within the next 2 weeks someone give me grief!

Wow, Annabelle! Thanks for telling me about this! I'm not real sure where Blowing Rock, but for some reason, I don't think its very far from where I live! Might be a new festival for me to check out next year! Can't wait to see the picks!

Thanks, Annabelle, for the info. I spent a couple of weeks in Blowing Rock a few years ago and you are right. It is such a beautiful area, I can just imagine a festival there. I would love to go. Maybe next year.... smile.gif
