Over the past 4 weeks we have updated the Celtic Radio Backup Plan and we just want to say a huge THANKYOU! for all of our financial supporters through the Celtic Radio Premium accounts and store sales. Without your support we could not have created a backup plan that insures Celtic Radio will continue for a long time.
1. We replaced our production servers with new hard drives and on board backup drives.
2. Complete duplicate set of production servers in a ready to go state.
3. Stand by cloned drives for plug and play hardware failures.
4. Weekly and Monthly backups run automatically.
We run our own servers for Celtic Radio and we stand by that decision from the start - while it has been alot of work and worry it results in better control and cost to run the whole site.
Our apologies on the down time over the past few weeks, it has been random and without notice in some cases, but going forward you should see improved performance of Celtic Radio and improved up time.
