I can't wait! maggiemahone1 |

Oh boy! What a wonderful birthday present for me in April! |
Posted by: maggiemahone1 10-Mar-2004, 08:08 AM |
What day in April, CelticRose? 2 of my 3 daughters have birthdays in April. maggiemahone1 |
Posted by: CelticRose 10-Mar-2004, 01:50 PM |
April 13th, Maggie! |
Posted by: Elspeth 10-Mar-2004, 03:30 PM |
My daughter's birthday is April 4th. When's yours Maggie? I'm glad it's not a coloring contest. I never could stay inside the lines. Is it one qualifying entry per post? If it is, we might as well just hand the prizes to Annabelle and Richard. Wonder if they'll share? |
Posted by: MDF3530 10-Mar-2004, 04:47 PM
Your birthday is the 13th??? OMG! Mine's the 14th! (I'll give you some of my if you give me some of yours!) |
Posted by: Macfive 10-Mar-2004, 08:37 PM |
Everyone has an equal chance to win, as long as you make one post on CelticRadio.net (new or reply) you will be eligible for the contest. Posting more than 1 message does not increase your chance. It would be nice, but it is not going to work that way! Oh, anytime you want to come by and color just let me know. We have plenty of crayons, markers and paper! |
Posted by: MDF3530 10-Mar-2004, 08:43 PM
Are the crayons and markers the little slim ones or the big fat ones ? |
Posted by: MDF3530 10-Mar-2004, 08:46 PM
So in other words, on the day after the Illinois primary election, following the Chicago tradition of "vote early, vote often" won't help, eh ? |
Posted by: single speed 10-Mar-2004, 08:53 PM
Thank God for that! I bet Annabelle made her own lines! Me? I was an inside the lines find of guy, but I used really wierd colors. Still DO! HMMMM I see a thread here! |
Posted by: MDF3530 10-Mar-2004, 08:59 PM
Me too. When I'm coloring with my niece, I'll color hats purple, eyes green, flowers steel blue, grass orange, and so on. |
Posted by: maggiemahone1 11-Mar-2004, 07:55 AM |
My oldest daughter's birthday is April 14th and Daughter no.2's birthday is April 16th. Eight years apart. My granddaughter who is 4 likes to control the crayons. She gives me the crayons she wants me to color with. When she's not around I slip and color with the crayons I want to use. maggiemahone1 |

Mike! I love cake so whatever kind you like, I am sure to like too! So we'll have fun partying together, eh? A Corona for you and a Dos Equis for me! Well, I may need more than just one as I will be 40+10 this year! This is the big one! |
Posted by: MDF3530 11-Mar-2004, 04:52 PM
Subtract 20 from that 40 + 10. That's how old I'll be. My will be yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Yum! I'm going out to dinner with family, then we'll come home and have the and . |

I have a quick small spot up with the St. Patrick Day contest prizes on our playing page and community page if you want to see a "visual" of the CD's and charm. Should have the full mod up in a few days with abilities to check if you qualify for the contest, etc. After St. Patrick's Day we will be giving away 2 albums of Heather Dales May Queen. This will be for April CD contest. |

My hubby's favorite cake is yellow cake with chocolate frosting too, isn't that weird? Well I like any cake as long as it has frosting on it! LOL Paul! all sounds so wonderful! Hope me or Mike wins since it will be our birthday! I am not greedy, eh? |

Mares Eat Oats & Does eat oats & Little Lambs Eat Ivey a Kid'll Eat Ivey Too Wouldn't You??????? My beautiful old Irish grandmother used to sing this (Quote it) to me when I was a Kid. Her name was Ella King. I promptly went out and ate Ivey thinking this was what she was getting at when I complained about her baked potatoes, which sat in a woodstove all day in Northern New Brunswick. Ah, to be able to go back there then. I wish. St. Patrick's day always brings her to my mind and us going to church at St. Patricks in South Nelson, N.B. on the beautiful Mirimachi. Seadreamer |

The programming code is all in place for the St. Patrick's Day contest. We have setup a contest page that will display your name if you are eligible. Note that you must post atleast one message on 3/17 to show up on this page. http://www.celticradio.net/php/contest.php This can be accessed from the contest section on our main page too. Future monthly contests will use this this module to determine contest eligibility. Good luck to all! |

Macfive, Thanks for the email that I got. I was not aware of any contests until last night. Been too busy, I guess, working on Ms. Grebe (my Jeep ) for the last couple of days and have not been in here much. But she is better now so I am back. The Prizes sounds cool too. I wonder if I can't squeek in at least one post that day? |
Posted by: CelticRose 16-Mar-2004, 01:10 PM |
Thanks Shadows! And I am sure that I will have earned all those cards about being old! I just want the cake! |
Posted by: MDF3530 16-Mar-2004, 04:23 PM |
Heck, I give my sister cards joking about how old she is, and we're only two years apart ! I'll be 30 in April and she'll be 32 in August. |

We've been having a wonderful St. Patrick's Season here in Kansas City! It all started with a black tie dinner honoring Joe Cahill and Marie Moore for their efforts for a Re-united Ireland. We have begun our efforts for this summer when we bring children over from Ireland for our Children For Peace Program, and then just today, we've honored the very first Kansas City Policeman who was killed in the line of duty, Martin Hynes. He was shot at the White House Saloon, which was at the current sight of the busiest intersection in downtown KC, in 1881. We found some of his surviving family and brought them here to help us pay homage to Martin's duty. A plaque now honors him and finally tells his story. Then tomorrow, there will be a series of breakfasts and brunches followed by our St. Patrick's Day parade. I can't wait - we're the first group steppin off right after the Grand Marshall. Have yourselves a fantastic day! Chuck |

Happy Thanksgiving one and all. I too will be in the KC parade tomorrow and if I had planned ahead all of my cooking would have been done and I'd be sleeping right now. But instead, I'm waiting on bread to finish baking. Cheers |

Well here's my St Paddy's post (and yet naother one to raise my slowly raising rank). MDF, birthday on the 14th?! Cool. My soon to be 5 year old son, and my soon to be 4 year old daughter, are both born on the 14th! (Yep, 1 year apart...within the same hour!). Happy St. Patrick's Day, y'all! --Pneumandro P.S. I want Heather Dale.....er..Heather Dale's album |

Feliz Dia a todos. Not really celebrating St. Patrick's day down here, but starting friday we will start celebrating the feast of San José in the little town I live in. We need more then one day to do it right though so the festival goes all through the weekend with lots of drinking, and eating and dances and cantadera and tamboritos and tunas and drinking, and parades (you ain't seen a parade until you see one down here), and drinking and dancing and then Sunday evening the queen will be crowned in a big ceremony. Anyone wanna come by just drop me a line. Leo By the way, in the course of all that I will raise a glass to you all and snort one for the old saint as well. |
