I usually pay about $14 for a cut. There was one time for a special occasion I decided to splurge and pay $30 at a better salon. It was the best haircut I've ever had.
So is anyone else cursed with naturally curly hair? I know, I know, I should consider myself blessed to have curl in my hair naturally, but I have the hardest time finding stylists who really know what to do with curly hair. At least when you get a perm all the curls are the same size and curliness, not a really curly top layer and an almost straight layer on the bottom. |

Your wish is granted! Your pet steals the car keys and buries them in the garden. It takes you hours to find them.
I wish I had room to plant a garden. |

Have you seen this name generator: http://www.behindthename.com/random/
The ultimate name generator, you can pick just about any nationality, including Irish, Scottish, Celtic Mythology or Ancient Celtic, as well as fantasy, fairy, goth, hillbilly, literature, etc. I could waste a lot of time on that site. |

We go shopping the day after Thanksgiving, more for a Ladies Day Out than for the shopping. It's just fun. We don't do the early morning madhouse stuff either. |

QUOTE (catlynelizabeth @ 21-Mar-2005, 02:53 PM) | I forgot about it the other day but I really liked Evelyn starring Pierce Brosnan. It was a sweet movie that told a great story. |
I found that one the other day at the library and I really enjoyed it.
I didn't really understand why the government was so adament about keeping his kids. Maybe someone who has seen the movie can explain that to me. It wasn't made very clear in the movie. All I can think of was that the schools were given funding based on the number of children in them. |

That's what I was thinking too. I was hoping that someone out there had heard something that I had missed. Her website says she in the process of recording. It sounds like it will be great, with some Mediterranean and Scandanavian influences. |

I have heard rumors that Loreena McKennitt has a new album coming out soon.
Has anyone heard of a specific release date for it? |

And here I thought winter was finishing up. The crocuses and tulips were even coming up but we had a really bad snowstorm move through Utah today. There were over 80 car accidents in the Salt Lake Valley in two hours.
I am sorry that so many people had trouble but I can't help feeling a little glad that we got in one more snowstorm before winter gives up for good. I love snow. |

I found the magazine at WalMart. Thanks for telling us about it. I also went to their website and downloaded the desktop wallpaper of the Giant's Causway and the standing stones in Spain. Wow. Why is it that my favorite articles in that magazine are always the shortest ones?
It was funny to read about all those beautiful places then turn the page and find a picture of a big ugly coal plant in my home state. Not that Utah doesn't have it's pretty places (it definately does) but they sure didn't pick one of them. |

QUOTE (connor1985 @ 05-Mar-2006, 02:25 PM) | me personally i love the fall i was born in it and as long as the rain and snow hold off its very nice temp wise and the landscape can take your breath away. |
Same for me. Fall will always be my favorite season. My birthday is at the beginning of September when it is still hot but cooling down quickly and the leaves are starting to change on the mountains. It kicks off my favorite time of year. I do try to enjoy whatever season it is at the moment. I love the colors and cooler weather of fall but when winter comes I am ready for the snow. It makes everything quieter and peaceful (unless you are driving in it). Then spring comes and reminds me how much I love the rain and watching new flowers grow. Summer is my worst season. The hot weather makes me sick (my ideal temperature range is between 40-60 degrees Fahrenheit) but stargazing is best on summer nights. |

We finally got some snow here today in central Utah after a few weeks of mild weather. The roads have been a mess tonight as it all froze. I love the snow anyway, especially on the mountains with the full moon illuminating everything. |

90% of the time it's Celtic music in my cd player.
I also like listening to soundtracks from certain movies (what category do they fit in? Classical?)
I also like Broadway and some vocals like Sarah Brightman and Josh Groban. |

Part of my Grandmother's family came from Dunnet in Caithness. I have never been to Scotland but I have seen some pictures of the coastline there. It is amazing.
I would love to see some pictures of Clackmannan. We also had family come from there. |

I haven't seen many newer shows because I got tired of paying for commercials and I only get what I can pick up through a cheap antennae (which isn't much) but I used to like Early Edition. I think that Dr. Who has to be my all time favorite. |

Your pirate name is: Dirty Bess Bonney You're the pirate everyone else wants to throw in the ocean -- not to get rid of you, you understand; just to get rid of the smell. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr! |
