Celtic thunder doesn't seem the same without damiimem what do you think of the New Boy? I think Damimen will be missed

Damian learned all he could from Celtic Thunder and has moved on to other projects so he can grow as an artist. His other projects will keep him in the public eye, so he won't be out of the limelight.

Daniel Furlong is a guest artist with CT and if he stays with the group he will grow with the experience like Damian did. I'm not a fan of his, but in a few years he will sound completely different.

Daniel seems to be a little young for the group. I know Damian was only 14 when the group was formed but he seemed more mature than Daniel. I did enjoy Daniel's duet with Keith at the Heritage concert last year, but I give Keith credit for that. Truth be told, I'd be happy listening to Keith read a phone book. I agree with heartsong that he will grow with the group experience. Do you remember Damian at the beginning? Can you picture him singing Puppy Love now? I'm just saying let's give the kid a chance. Sharon usually knows what she is doing. I can't believe I've said all this without welcoming you to the group! Please excuse me I'm a wreak this week. I'm putting out big money for good seats at their Nov 1st concert knowing that Keith could leave the group by then and that would effect me much more than Damian & Paul leaving

EVERYONE MUST GROW UP AND LEAVE THE NEST. DAMIEN WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. HE WAS AN AWESOME ADDITION TO THE BAND. BUT IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO SPREAD HIS WINGS AND FIND HIS OWN PLACE IN THE WORLD. CELTIC THUNDER WILL CARRY ON AND CONTINUE TO AMAZE THEIR FANS. GOOD LUCK TO DAMIEN AND ROCK ON CELTIC THUNDER. angel.gif angel.gif rockon.gif rockon.gif

Hey there, Lesley, from the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona! Glad to have you with us. Enjoying reading the discussion of personnel changes with Celtic Thunder. It's always hard to say goodbye to someone you have gotten used to in a group and then welcoming someone new. Celtic Woman has had the same thing as well as some Trad groups I enjoy (Solas comes to mind). One thing that seems to say constant is change.

Welcome aboard and have a great day!

Welcome to the site, lesleyworrell! It was sad to see the guys leave, but the new guys are quite lovely to listen to as well. Damien was and is a talented artist. I think, him being a young artist, that he should try new things and take opportunities that come his way. He'll keep singing ang growing, as he did in Celtic Thunder. The group is quite splendid, and it does wonderful things for all the guys involved. Emmett has really grown on me since hearing his version of "Ave Maria", but he's a way to go before he passes Ryan in my eyes wink.gif
