At the time of Wallaces rising , he was aided by a man from the north. He was Andrew de Moray, he liberated the north of Scotland from English domination and won back all the castles from Inverness to Aberdeen. De Moray stood at Wallaces side at the Battle of Stirling, in fact it was his tactics that won the battle. Unfortunatly De Moray was fataly wounded at this battle and therefore vanished from history. His contribution though must not be be underestimated but is . Do not forget Andrew de Moray without him Wallace would not have won at Stirling Bridge and history would have been so different. please do not forget him.
