With a faint hint of incense, I remember being transfixed. Seeing only the particles of dust, floating in the sun beams, streaming through the stained glass windows, depicting the station’s of the cross.
All that, I remember quit clearly, but so help me. I can’t recall, nor imagine, the look on my face. When my brother turned and said… “You’re getting married.” …a response to my question of what was happening?
Note: Thank you all for putting up with me, and I hope that the world is a better place, in the New Year.
