What I would give Were we to-gether My Anjin-San To walk again Your deck, and by The Mast to stand To feel your helm Beneath my hand The Rudder buck At it's command. To hear the singing Of the shrouds The snapping of Your billowed sails The rushing water Flowing by, scuppers Gurgling the Cockpit dry To feel the Shudder of your Hull As through the waves Your sharp stem ploughs The crashing bang as The Boom swings o'er The thrumming hum Of Lines pulled taught The laugh of glee That escapes my throat Now lost to me You are my Love Another has you now Your Deck he walks Your Helm he holds But does he know Your Soul. |

Camac, You made me feel like I was standing on the deck experiencing it all. Thank-you. |

Dead Dave; I would think that whoever is holding the helm Anjina-San has much the same feeling that inspired you. It is better to have loved then to have not. Thanks JC |

This one is splendid, David. This one has arrived. There have been a few things I've loved that much and lost -- but never yet sung of them. My admiration to you. |

I have to agree with all of the above my friend... Reading this poem is like living it at the same time.It is a great privilege to be able to write and feel at the same time, a unique talent indeed. LOA |
