Last night Fox News had a picture of a man at the Wall St protest with his pants down, defecating next to a NYPD car. It was noted that the site smelled like a sewer as there were inadequate rest room facilities in the area and the organizers failed to provide porta-johns. (If they had a permit they would have been instructed on the number of porta-johns that they would need) Since they are providing food to the protesters, hepatitis or cholera would be a possibility. This is reminiscint of what happened at the Wisconsin state house when they protested there.

They interviewed a man who said he had warrants for his arrest and decided that the protest was the best place to hide. He claimed to have been drinking and using drugs for 8 days. His appearance indicated that for the most part he was probably telling the truth

Another man from the West coast was demonstrating how to pick hand cuff locks with a bobby pin.

Another complimented the food that was being provided. He just had smoked salmon and cream cheese. He said it was better food than he got at home. (smoked salmon sells for between 15 and 18 dollars a pound.) I doubt they are providing that for everyone there though.

Pelosi said that the protesters were doing the right thing and should continue. Other D's (though not obama) praised them and their actions.

The Tea Party and the Wall St. group could not be further apart! Especially on the issue of hygiene. It appears the Wall st. people are representing the left and for that the D's should be proud.

For my part, I am proud of my affiliation with the Tea Party though smoked salmon and cream cheese does sound good.

I understand that there are craigs list ads offering to pay people up to 600 a week to protest. I know people here who would go for the money but this area has no protests yet. That is $15.00 an hour and if they provide gourmet meals too, they will find the events easy to staff.

Some Tea Party members in areas where protests are taking place are looking for the ads.

We did not pay people to show up for Tea Party ralleys.

This is definitely interesting.

The Craigs list ad was found on the site in several West coast areas. There must be more money available there.

The news this morning on Fox and a small blurb on CNN stated that the protesters refused to move around the site (not leave) to facilitate power washing the excrement and other waste from the park. They will now be left to live in what has been compared to a sewer.

If I failed to clean up after my dog in NY, I would be arrested. We even have a law here in my little community re: pet waste. I guess people are different.

Sadly, if people try to continue living in that filth, they will start becoming ill. Also, winter is coming and winters on the East coast can be brutal.

What was done with the substandard mortgage paper was criminal but they are demonstrating in the wrong place. They should bring the message to the senators including their leaders in the effort, dodd and frank, who made the entire calamity possible.

Dodd, Frank, and a number of people at Fannie May and Freddie Mac need to be in jail.

Just like the Newt said:

The lefties running that debate mouths dropped open when he said that! thumbs_up.gif

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Coast Guard in Boston confirmed that a woman in uniform was harassed and spat upon near Occupy Boston protesters.

The woman was walking to the train and said protesters spit on her twice, called her foul names and even threw a water bottle at her.

Now, the Coast Guard is warning all staff working on Atlantic Avenue to avoid those protesters while in uniform.

I agree, All involved need to be jailed. My daughter did cold contact investment calls for 5th Third bank and I feel most of their management should be jailed. Ohio classified them as a predatory lender. They paid for falsified appraisals and made mortgage loans to anyone. Because of that and the high number of armed robberies they experienced I convinced her to quit.

The legislators will protect themselves at all cost and wall st / banks know too much.

An area group finally met with 16 people in attendance. The leader stated the groups goals which mostly related to ending the govt. control by the wealthy and the power brokers. This was a concern expressed by the founding fathers as they intended congressmen/senators to be public servants who served a term for a small payment and returned home. Now they are but a herd of swine on a continuous feeding frenzy at the trough of the public treasury.

The president issued a statement on the occupy wall street protest which in essence was, it was great that the people would gather to express their concerns "so long as they obeyed the law!"

Most of America agrees with the president, especially with those last seven words.

A Fox News reporter who had covered this since the beginning was assaulted and threatened with eminent stabbing. The perp who he had talked to several times before was arrested and later police gathered up all of the generators. Last night was the coldest to date and the weekend is likely to bring snow and ice.

When improvised heating is used, they are likely to create an accidental firestorm.

It is just a guess but I suspect the police are about to move the protestors out. Generators would have been safer (except for carbon monoxide) than lanterns or candles.
