Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to take a few moments to thank everyone for the kind thoughts sent my way. They all helped! smile.gif My mom is beginning to regain some of her spunk after her heart attack. Boy, was I scared! Although she is 83, she has always enjoyed good health. However, now there is a worry about my dad. He was diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday. His kidney infection finally cleared up but the specialist has order a cat scan of his kidneys to find out why he still has blood in his urine. Then there's my hubby, who is going through many tests to find out why he is experiencing so much muscle pain. They think it is some type of arthritis, but the doctors haven't been able to figure it out yet. So, between the three of them, we seem to spend most of our time at various doctors offices. Soooo....any and all prayers would be appreciated. wink.gif

Oh yeah, we also were at the vet's this week. One of our male dogs decided to venture over to a neighboring farm for some courting. We explained that if he was going to play, then he was going to pay. He was NOT happy!! rolleyes.gif

Great to see your return, BluegrassLady! We've probably never talked on here because I too was out for a time...but it's glad to see you back. This site is truly a wonderful community, kind, talented, and very knowledgable!

Btw, what part of Kentucky are you in? I'm in Winchester, KY and I know at least one other Kentuckian, Aaediwen. Good to have some more folks from the area on here! smile.gif

BluegrassLady, so sorry to hear that your parents are having health problems. I hope their health improves and hoping that your husband can find out what his health problem is and that it can be corrected. I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Gosh, you are all so great. The support that can be found here is very special. Thanks for the many prayers and well wishes. I know that they will help.

Haldur..how nice to find another Kentuckian here. Now with Aaediwen, we are three. I wonder how many more members are from this great area. I live on a farm outside a small town called Yosemite, about 10 miles from Liberty, in Casey County.

An update on our dog, MoJo. He's still mad at us. He has been moping around since Tuesday. Won't eat either. I even made him a dinner of venison steak and gravy. Wonder if he is suffering from depression. Do dogs ? I guess I'll have to have another heart ot heart talk with him...just to let him know that I still think he's a charmer.

Yeah, I've heard of Casey County but it's sad to realize that when you've lived here all your life (even though I've travelled around the country, with the exception of the West) that you've not been to every place in the Bluegrass state!

Sorry to hear about your family, our prayers are with you! And about your dog, dogs can suffer depression, just like us humans. I've had several dogs over my short 23 years and they tend to do that if one of their masters are feeling gloomy, if they haven't been very active, and sometimes even if they haven't had enough company (not to say you've been neglecting your dog or anything). I've had similar problems, as I'm sure all dog owners have had, and its very easy to remedy. When you think about it, they're very much like us!

smile.gif Good luck and may God bless you and yours!

I had a co-worker at a previous job who lives over in that area. Definately a bit of a drive.
