I love ya girl! I have not been on here in ages but you have and will continue to be my first prayer everyday til your can kick my butt! Our friend keeps me posted on how things are and when he stopped informing me i got worried. I mentioned flights to Frankfort and wanted to make sure you are still at that hospital.
Always know how important you are to me !We connected here on CR years ago and your too dear to me to go off with grandma on a jolly ride. So park it missy!
Keep up the great work and I know rehab is "WORK". I am going back to med school starting Aug 2 so i'll ck in with ya here on CR!
I have friends here that use to work at the hospital you are in. They are telling me you are in great hands. Just keep going forward! Even if you get down sometimes which we all do, and you will, remember all the people all over the world that you have meet thru CR that are pulling for you. Me? we have alot of years on here and I'm gonna kick ya if you stop trying! I am not giving you any slack cause you are too dear to me!

I will never believe he is an American Citizen....
When he apologized for America to the rest of the world appalled me.
America is the one that was attacked and when he apologized I knew no matter what he does during his administration I could never respect someone who would represent me that way. His apology was a slap in every veteran's face in AMerica!
I think no one should be able to hold the office of President unless he has been in the Armed Forces. That way he knows how it feels. This President hasen't a clue.
And for the Nobel Peace Prize that holds no value to me anymore. I thought it was to people who made a difference, not talked about when they were going to do something.
I'll be glad when this last 3 years are over. Maybe we can get AMerica going again and people will have jobs again.
I'd like to kick everyone that voted for him. |

The shooter is one of the people who help debreaf incoming and outgoing. I wonder what damage he did while he was in a professional capacity?
My son Matthew is Station at Ft Hood but he is at his 3rd tour over in Iraq right now. He is due back in January.
I have 2 clients that have son's that are stationed at Ft Hood so you can imagine how they felt til they spoke with their son's? I would be terrified. |

Believe it or not ! I am actually relaxing!
I've been driving to NC for a year and ahalf to build my Celtic Bed and Breakfast and running a construction crew for the last year and doing part of the work myself has been exhausting while keeping another business going here in Ga leaves little time to relax.
This is my first weekend without any pressure to get something done. The Highlander House is completed and I have only the basement to finish so I'm hoping I can spend some time on here to catch up on everyone.
Mitzie has been gracious about keeping in touch with me so I hope this finds everyone great or if not, workin on it.
Yea, I've got friends that have lost their jobs and it sucks!!! Maybe we should actually make products in this country? Novel concept hua?
Looking forward to chatting with everyone and meeting all the new folks here on Celtic Radio!

Along time ago in another lifetime there was a girls room for us to discuss womanly things and guys loved to peek in here to see what's the chatting about but I don't see it on here anymore. OldRaven jumped into the facial moisturizer discussion before he got married once and that was how many years ago? 3?

Interesting Topic!
I find alot of times that some Presidents get credit for things that were set up under the previous president. So they make that 4 year term look "marvelous".
Some "action" Presidents get things moving and have a substantial impact on the USA immediately but others just float along.
All politicians promise Tax reform ultimately and I need to remind you we are still in the stream of the political year so I'm sure they will all get around to it sooner or later.
I think they are all on a hard sell job to American's to get elected and have a permanent retirement income with personal security at no expense to them not to mention the speaking engagements they can do the rest of their lives and pull in tons of money with little or no effort when other people work minimum wages or are Supremem Court judges that want to vote themselves a pay raise but the military personnel can't get a miserable 3.5% pay raise which is presently on freeze. Our guys over in Iraq are over there risking their booty's and can't even get a pay raise but the Judge's which have limo service pick them up every morning and take them to work can vote themselves pay raises.
Sorry I'm not impressed with Democrats or Republicans.
There are somethings about our country that is just not right.
When most people vote, they do so only voting the lesser of two evils or they have blinders on and vote party lines. OMG! But that's what Freedom is all about. |

ok this is a great Topic! My fellow American's!
I should be the next President of America!
Here are the Top 10 Reasons I should be the next President!
#1: No one would be allowed to go to work before 10:00 in the morning
#2: There should be no taxes on your home, ever!
#3: Everyone would pay a straight 10% tax on whatever they made
(get those rich folks in there for once)
#4: Social Security would not be taxed cause it's already been taxed when you made it right? Isn't that Double Taxation? Let's have a tea party.
#5: Any one going on Welfare would only have 4 years they are allowed to be on it and then they can't get any benefits. There would be an education system to retrain for other jobs. Also once a week they would have to pick up trash in cities to get their checks. This would not only clean up America but make people understand you have to do something for it. If they have any children they are only allowed 1.5 kids.
#6: Everyone would be allowed to carry gun's on their hips so no one messes with each other. And lawyer's would be out of work cause if you get pissed at someone you just call em out for a shoot out!
#7. Beer would be free after 8 P M, the police will no longer be needed for crime but to keep the beer line after 8 every night. No line jumpers!
#8. Rap Music would be the official antheum (that way since no one can understand a word they say no one could get offended)
#9. Every person should have a person to love, even if we have to pay them!
#10. The Car of your Dreams (a one time offer) is half price.

No! I think when you travel and some place grabs your heart and you get this feelings of being part of something for no apparent reason you have found the pieces of you that were missing.
We all search for something to love in our lives. We yearn, crave and kill for a completed person we want to be. When you find that place you "just know". OMG I sound like that Irish part of me trying to come out!!! But you "just know". Don't tell anyone there about 1/4 of me Irish and everything else is a Scot with a big butt. |

I'm a member of the "House of Gordon" Clan in several states, why we are titled differently I don't know but that is how our clan is always stated. Unfortunately I don't have alot of free time in the last year to be active. Hoping that will change in 2008.

Thanks to everyone who has said a prayer for Richard! He has started some new medication that helps his liver work. He will continue to stay on the liver transplant list for the time being. He has had to give up his driving license cause his body becomes immoveable suddenly and can't react to driving conditions so his fishing has become less and less. He is doing really well and his spirits are high. He is staying positive and that is half of the battle!
Thanks for everyone's kind support of Richard and keep it up!
