Not me, I have been on a diet for the last 3 years and I don't need to start another. Especially me, a Fine Figure of a Man. tongue.gif

I had started on a diet a couple months ago called the South Beach diet, similar to Atkins. Been doing really well on it and have lost a lot of weight. However, with the holiday season, it has been a bit hard to stay on lately. I figure I might just let myself slide a little now and then get back on it seriously after the first of the year. Feels too good to go down dress sizes. but then that chocolate..... wub.gif

As of this moment I am on the Atkins diet and doing really well, I plan to stick with this program till I reach my goal. The thing is to modify the lifestyle to keep the pounds stable.

Diet? Not I. To quote my hubby "all diet is is DIE with a T after it."
Granted I can definantly stand to lose weight, but I'll have to find a healthy way to do it.

I have been on a diet since the first of June. Moderate food intake plus 5 trips to the gym per week. I have lost 35 pounds and many inches so far. The diet part didn't become drastic until about a month ago when I quit ALL beer drinking! This was because my weight had plateaued, not because I have finally gone around the bend. tongue.gif Besides, THAT happened many years ago!

I want to seriously look at losing some weight in the New Year . I plan to go to New York for a few days next December with my sisters and sister-in-law to celebrate my 40 th birthday a wee bit early and I would like to be fit to do the walking required to see a bit of Manhattan.
So, back to the gym I go!! rolleyes.gif

No diet. Just another slight adjustment to the way I am eating. I've lost 35 lbs. and have been maintaining it for awhile.(still eating the things I like.) This has worked the best for me. Plus my job, in the summer, doesn't hurt either. Still have 25 to go to reach my "ideal" weight. I would really like to lose at least 10 more pounds before the last week in April. Rob and I are going to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in Las Vegas with all of our close friends. Can't wait. We have never been there. biggrin.gif

Tartangel! I have been to Manhatten and oh believe me! I walked myself exhausted! So much so I had to lay down on one of the marble benches in the big NYC library there! laugh.gif

My body changes so quickly. In the summer I lose weight due to my schedule and it's so hot here that I don't eat. In the winter when things slow down a little I seem to put about 20-25 pounds on. I keep 3 sizes of clothing to accomodate this kind of change. I have jeans from 14-18. I'm the most comfortable at 14 when I'm going to the gym and during the summer. Since I haven't been able to walk I'll have to hit it alot after Christmas. I'd go now but my feet aren't 100% yet. Helps to stop falling from attics of homes doesn it?
Hey I was trying to fly after Raven! He's too fast for me but one day I'm going to take off and catch up to him...

Happy Christmas!
